Last Friday was Boston's 10 month birthday (Brett can't wait until I quit insisting that it's Boston's birthday on the 16th of each month). It was a very exciting day. The long awaited moment arrived...Boston busted out crawling like he's been doing it all his life. He started going and hasn't stopped. Crazy! Here is a video of his first day as a mobile baby.
On the very same day, he also took four steps all by himself! Talk about crazy!!! We were squatting down by Chief and Brett was letting him drink out of a cup (not one that we drink out of...sick!) . He sometimes goes on water strikes and we have to coax him to take a break and drink up. Anyway, Boston was just standing there leaning against my leg and all of the sudden he just stood up straight and took four perfect steps to Chief. We were stunned! He was so steady and looked like it was something he's been doing for months, until it hit him that he wasn't holding on to anyone and he promptly toppled right over. It came as such a surprise that we didn't catch him on video. Bummer! He did it one more time after that, but now he'd rather crawl. We're working on it. In the meantime, here is a picture of him using his fancy walker that his cousins are letting him borrow. Thanks, Dev, Corbin & Mason! He loves it!!!

Ethan made us watch the videos multiple times, he would cry until I started them over. Then he would sit and wave at Boston. We need to get these boys together more often....when are you guys coming down for a visit?
Wow, he's pretty good at manuvering that walker around! He's getting so big! I'll bet he'll be walking within a couple of weeks!
Way to go B! That is exactly how Koen was! One day decided "um...why not?" So are we gonna do lunch while I am here? I am here till the 7th!
